With heart failure, the heart can do less than the body requires. All conservative, interventional and surgical therapies (including a heart support system) are available to you at the University Heart Center.

- Outpatient and inpatient care for patients with heart failure
- Implantation of defibrillators (ICD) and three-chamber pacemakers (CRT)
- Implantation of cardiac support systems (left ventricular assist device, LVAD)
- Comprehensive care of patients after implantation of a ventricular assist device (LVAD) and heart transplantation
- Care of patients with heart failure with temporary heart support systems
- Artificial heart consultation: After the implantation of an artificial heart (VAD), patients are regularly cared for by our VAD coordination team in our own consultation hours
