The University Hospital Basel is centrally located and offers a qualified range of gastronomy and catering services. The excellent cuisine offers dishes from all over the world, you will be served by competent service staff, but technical experts are also available to put your event in the right light and sound. True to the motto "the guest is king", we work with you to create the perfect setting for your event.

The University Hospital Basel has individually adaptable rooms that are suitable for all kinds of occasions and events. The two light-flooded catering establishments Centro and Centrino are located in the center and are ideally suited for your celebration on a small or large scale.

Whether served at the table, served at bar tables or with live cooking on site, our team will always serve you in a friendly and competent manner. Your high standards are our motivation.


Our offer


"Unique and always different", but also "no one too small to be our guest", these are our guiding principles with which we aim to satisfy our customers.Fondue stand-up bars, culinary gourmet shelves, a mobile vintage slicing machine or mobile smoking ovens, our offers also stand for experience gastronomy. And this in rooms ranging from historical to modern, in the open air or under the floor.

Our vitamin rush for your event. Look forward to a special kind of refreshment experience. Our ice-cold smoothies are particularly suitable for congresses or events in summer, but also in winter. Freshly prepared by us on site, they give your event that certain touch.

Example of a lunch bag

With our lunch bag, we have created a change from the classic sandwich for you. During development, we took great care to create a balanced range with a clean label, i.e. without E-numbers, flavor enhancers and colorants. There is a daily changing offer with a salad including topping, a homemade dessert with fresh fruit and Focuswater as a drink.

The cost per lunch bag is 16 francs. Can be ordered via the order form, with a lead time of 48 hours (working days) before the event.

One of the most beautiful cellar vaults in Basel. Provides a worthy setting for special events. Suitable for banquets, aperitifs and gala dinners.

Basel's largest lecture hall with modern infrastructure. Can be used together with a large anteroom if required. Suitable for congresses and symposia.
