Treatment quality
Our focus
- How do our patients feel before, during and after treatment? How do our specialists succeed in tailoring treatment for chronic illnesses, pain or cancer to the individual quality of life and individual needs of patients? And how does the USB compare nationally and internationally in terms of treatment quality?
- To answer these questions, the USB relies on a quality management system that provides the information that doctors, nurses, department heads and hospital management really need for their decisions. Together, we ensure optimal, sustainable and patient-centered treatment quality at the USB.
- And what can we learn from our patients? Through the standardized collection of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), we learn, for example, what is important to our patients or which treatment approach is suitable according to individual preferences. This is a step on the way to value-based medicine - value-based healthcare - which the USB has committed to as a strategy for future healthcare.
