As a speech therapist, you specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, consultation, therapy and rehabilitation of patients with communication disorders (voice disorders, speech development delays, articulation disorders, dysarthria, hearing disordersarticulation disorders, dysarthria, hearing disorders), abnormalities in the acquisition or use of written language (dyslexia, aphasia) and impaired swallowing ability.

You are enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland in the speech therapy program.

For students of the Bachelor of Arts in Speech Therapy at the University of Teacher Education of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, internships for the practical modules are available at the University Hospital Basel.
