Your application
You can find the application modalities and the responsible contact persons in the respective clinics (see possible assignments).
Rent a room
You can rent a furnished room in the staff house during your sub-residency or clinical traineeship (caution: the number is limited). Of course, only those who have a valid employment contract as a junior assistant at the University Hospital Basel can rent a room. You will receive the relevant application forms for a room when you return the signed contract or on request from the secretariat responsible for you. (see employment opportunities)

Working during your studies
We offer medical students the opportunity to work as sitting watches or nursing assistants. Our temporary staff pool (ZTP) is a good way to start your career and get to know the wide range of nursing activities in the various departments of the USB.
