At the USB, we offer our doctors a wide range of in-service training and development opportunities to constantly increase their knowledge and skills.

Subject-specific further training

Our in-service programs include the specialist training programs of the Swiss Institute for Continuing and Professional Education (SIWF) as well as the offerings of our own MedAcademy and the Continuing Education Academy.

For researchers

The Department of Clinical Research also offers research physicians the opportunity to participate in various study programs, continuing education courses and seminars on all relevant clinical research topics.

In-house courses for all professional groups

The USB offers a wide range of attractive in-house training and advisory services. It includes interdisciplinary further education and specialist training as well as courses for the development of managers, vocational trainers and those responsible for vocational training.

Further training for managers

Managers at the University Hospital have a wide range of opportunities to develop their skills in-house: We offer various further training and leadership development courses as well as leadership coaching if required. All modules focus on interprofessional learning with and from each other as well as a dialog-oriented understanding of leadership.
